Meet Tim McGowan the Capital Campaign Manager at Inn from the Cold, Calgary’s original family homeless shelter. The Inn provides emergency shelter to families, as well as transitional housing support.
The in is excited to be working on project Thrive with Homespace to revitalize an office tower downtown, which will become their new home as well as provide additional housing units.

Inn From the Cold
The Inn began out of a community concern for the growing number of people facing homelessness during the bitterly cold winter of 1996/97. Volunteers from several local churches met to discuss how they could help.
Today, we support families through our prevention and diversion program, temporary emergency shelter and supportive housing programs with the help of over 2,700 committed volunteers.
