The Entrepreneurial Spirit Impact Award honours a CREW Network member (commercial real estate industry) who has achieved a unique career success or milestone as the result of taking a risk. The individual is willing to step outside of the box to create something new or different, and provide services, develop products, or improve practices by organizing, developing, or deploying available resources in an innovative way. This was open to candidates across CREW’s 11,000 + members in Canada, US and the UK. She’s the first Canadian to receive this award.
In 2020, Suba launched Scout Real Estate, an all-female brokerage, which has swiftly grown and shaken up Calgary’s market. She took a tremendous financial risk launching Scout during the most challenging economic downturn in Calgary’s history. Scout has continued to realize great success in the market, winning assignments that have previously been held by large brokerage firms.

He worked for 35 years at the Calgary Herald covering sports, crime, politics, health, faith, city and breaking news, and business. He now works as a freelance writer and editor as well as a consultant in communications and media relations/training.
