Kathy founded Phase One Design in 2006.
Kathy was Nominated for RBC’s Canadian Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award in both 2016 and 2017.
Kathy helps homeowners create the home of their dreams. Her vision is to impact the world and leave a legacy, one custom home at a time. and to do this by building an amazing company, creating an amazing place to work, and fill it with a team of like-minded, extremely talented designers who can learn from each other, challenge each other, and actually LIKE each other in their day-to-day work. Work should be FUN!! Life is too short for it not to be.
Phase One Design has been nominated and won over 15 design awards, most recently winning 2 SAM awards in 2017. Kathy and her team have been fortunate to design over 500 homes in the past 11 years. They leave a trail of raving fans and happy clients by practicing what we call “ego-free” design and truly listening to what our clients want for their homes.
Most importantly, Kathy wants to make an impact and difference in people’s lives – my clients, my staff, and everyone I encounter in my day-to-day life.
