Jeff believes that engagement equates to motivation. Engaged employees are motivated to find better ways to do their job and give what they can to their employer during the time that they are at work.
Unfortunately, most companies are not doing as much as they should to drive employee engagement. They end up being too process based, and employee just become a cog in the wheel. process over people makes people disengage.
